You’re warmly invited to the book Launch for The Revd Dr Katie Marcar’s academic monograph, Divine Regeneration and Ethnic Identity in 1 Peter: Mapping Metaphors of Family, Race, and Nation (SNTSMS 180; Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2022).  This event will feature a response by Bishop Kelvin Wright on the book and a discussion with Katie, followed by refreshments.  You’ll be able to look at a copy of the book, hear what it’s about, and think about the relationship between the academy and the church.  All welcome.
