Te Pouhere Sunday…
On Sunday 6th June we celebrated Te Pouhere Sunday, with a specially written mass setting in Te Reo by Michael Grant, our Director of Music, and a sermon from Mother Barbara Dineen which told some of the Anglican Church’s cultural journey so far. There was also some good New Zealand hymnody in both Te Reo Māori and English, and the Bright Lights looked at the importance of having s olid foundation! Thank you to all who joined us for this step along the way of our journey together.
